Kenny has BAs in Literature & Philosophy, MAs in Philosophy & Religious Studies, served as a full-time adjunct (Visiting Instructor) of Religious Studies & Philosophy at Georgia State University for several years, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in American Religious Cultures at Emory University. He has published in Nova Religio (Summer 2008), Religion Dispatches, and writes regularly for Religion Nerd.
